North Augusta provides once-a-week curbside collection of residential recyclable material, yard waste, garbage and trash. Normal collection days are Monday through Thursday with a specific day assigned to each neighborhood. The collection schedule is often adjusted in weeks that contain a holiday. 

 2010 Sanitation Collection Holiday Schedule

New Year's Holiday - Friday, January 1st - Closed in observance of the holiday.  No change in residential sanitation collection routes.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday - Monday, January 18th - Closed in observance of the holiday - Residential sanitation collection routes will run a day later.

Good Friday Holiday -  Friday, April 2nd – Closed in observance of the holiday – No change in residential sanitation collection routes.

Memorial Day Holiday - Monday, May 31st – Closed in observance of the holiday – Residential sanitation collection routes will run a day later.

Independence Day - July 4th holiday – Closed Monday July 5th in observance of the holiday – Residential sanitation collection routes will run a day later.

Labor Day - Monday, September 6th – Closed in observance of the holiday – Residential sanitation collection routes will run a day later.

Thanksgiving - Thursday, November 25 & Friday, November 26 – Closed in observance of the holidays – No change in residential sanitation collection routes for Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday.  Thursday’s route will be collected a day earlier on Wednesday.
