CURRENT OPENINGS:
The City of North Augusta is accepting applications for Part Time PC Support Technician. Under general supervision, provides administrative and technical support for all personal computers and peripheral equipment. Configures, installs, maintains, repairs and upgrades all computer hardware and software and provides Help Desk support. Provides backup support for other IT departmental functions. Position is part time, 20 hours per week. Reports to the Manager of Information Technology. Requires an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Technology or related field with a minimum of three years experience as a personal computer hardware/software support technician or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Proficient with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Microsoft Office Suites. Knowledge of TCP/IP, Windows 2003 Server, or MS certification a plus. Excellent customer service, communication, organizational and self-management skills required. Valid driver’s license required.
