CURRENT OPENINGS |
CIVIL ENGINEER
The City of North Augusta is accepting applications for CIVIL ENGINEER. Under limited supervision, performs engineering work in the design, management, and inspection of construction projects for the City; prepares and administers construction contracts for utility and street projects; performs site surveys. Supervises the work of assigned Engineering Technicians and Engineering Inspectors. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering supplemented by one to two years of experience in public works/utilities engineering or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities. Must possess state certification as an Engineer-In-Training and must possess valid driver’s license. SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD
The City of North Augusta is seeking applicants for the position of School Crossing Guard. Work schedule is 10 hours per week during the school year. Salary is $211.13 biweekly. Applications should be submitted in person to the Department of Public Safety, City of North Augusta, 400 East Buena Vista Avenue, North Augusta, S.C. 29841.
