The City of North Augusta's Streets and Drains division is responsible for maintenance of approximately 130 miles of streets and over 65 miles of storm sewers.
Street maintenance activities include minor patching & pot hole repair, concrete curb & gutter and sidewalk replacement, maintenance of traffic signals, street signs, and City-owned streetlights.
Storm Sewer Maintenance & Construction
The Streets and Drains division is responsible for maintaining and minor construction/upgrading of the City's storm sewer system. Maintenance includes pipe and catch basin cleaning, pipe replacement, ditch cleaning and regrading, inlet/outlet stabilization, repair of catch basin tops, and up-keep of approximately 40 detention ponds.
