City Council Meetings
City Council meetings are open to the public and held the first and third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Building, 100 Georgia Avenue North Augusta, SC. City Council Study Session meetings are held prior to the Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the third floor Council Conference Room or the Council Chambers depending on number of seats required for the meeting.
Addressing the City Council
The Mayor and City Council welcome your comments. The Mayor will call for comments prior to City Council discussing each item on the agenda. Citizens may also speak to Mayor and City Council regarding matters not listed on the agenda at the end of the meeting.
Agendas of City Council meetings are generally posted the Friday before each Monday evening Meeting or Study Session. Agenda attachments are available for review in the City Clerk's office on the third floor of the Municipal Center, 100 Georgia Avenue.
City Council meeting minutes are available online after Council approval. Audio recordings of Council meetings are posted online as soon as possible after a meeting.

If possible, notification at least 48 hours prior to the meeting will enable the City to make arrangements in most cases.
